the kids carry some part of their significant planets with them. jade carries the frost part of her planet, then. in which, she struggles with staying warm. she’s frequently cold, which is the reason that even on her island she was able to wear long sleeves and a long skirt. it’s another reason why she constantly is bundled up. even to the touch, she’s colder.

when she comes into contact with dave, it’s almost like a burning sensation to her. heat melts ice to create water and water extinguishes the heat. almost like he can burn her, and she can drown him.

jade loves sweets. they’re like dog treats to her, in a sense.

as for other dog-like traits —

- she loves being rubbed behind her puppy ears
- enjoys walking around a lot
- sleeps and cuddles up to things without hesitation
- woofs when shes excited
- makes other dog noises depending on situations

- Is the type to fall in LOVE easily. Actually, she likes the idea and concept of love, even though she clearly doesn’t understand it one bit. Which is kind of something she needs experience with.

- Literally has NO BOUNDARIES, considering the fact she was raised by a dog who didn’t have any way of teaching her anything other than her warped sense of safety.

- Acts very tough-skinned but is actually somewhat of a CRYBABY. She’s a huge softy who tends to cry in situations, whether happy or sad.

- She looks up to her FRIENDS for their unmentionable strength. Not really in the battle field, but emotionally. They all seem so wonderful that she doesn’t know what to do with herself to the point where she can’t describe how grateful she is for having them in her life.

- Secretly, she wishes she could be ten times more AWESOME, though she’s into a complex that it won’t ever happen.

- Besides her happy-go-lucky exterior, she is really somewhat of a very LONELY girl, since she was somewhat left alone as a child, barely talking to people growing up, and then coming out socially awkward and unwanted.
